Any bad experiences with Angie's List??? Tell us your story.

Angie's List members pay $39/year for membership. Advertisers pay up to tens of thousands per year.  Yet Angie's List does not monitor the reports a business recieves and it doesn't go to bat for a business when that business gets a negative report about them.  The member can post lies about a business without a care in the world and Angie's List will not remove the report.  A member can damage a reputation and credibility by a single report and Angie's List doesn't even take the time to gather any information to prove the member is telling the truth.  When Angie's List is given proof by the service provider that the member is giving false information they still do not act in removing the false report.  This can hurt the reputation of the business and therefore lose plenty of business.  Is this the kind of company you would like to give your advertising dollars to?
